Jean Marc Cordero
Biography
Jean Marc started dancing a few months before he turned 18 years old. He was a working scholar at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Dance School under the Direction of Nordin Jumalon.

In 2005 he was offered an apprenticeship by Ballet Philippines and after 2 years became a full time member of the company. He has worked with 4 different artistic directors in his career with Ballet Philippines. Augustos Damian (2005-08), Max Luna and Allan Heineline (2008-09), Paul Morales (2009-16).

Jean Marc moved to Germany to continue dancing in 2017 with Ballet Kiel under the direction of Yaroslav Ivanenko and Heather Jurgensen.

Jean Marc started to choreograph mostly to enhance his Ballet Competition repertoire. Together with his coach and dance partner, he would make a different version of Don Quixote, Diana and Acteon Pas De Duex to make it more exciting and refreshing from the Traditional versions. He would also start choreographing solos for himself which had performed in Seoul International Ballet Competition in 2011 and in the Rudolph Nureyev International Ballet Competition in Hungary 2013.

Jean Marc is also a graduate of Bachelor of Performing Arts Major in Dance from the DLS-College of St. Benilde, Manila, Philippines.
